Netta Weinstein, PhD
Scientific Director

Netta Weinstein Headshot_cropped.jpeg

Netta is a Professor of Social and Clinical Psychology at the University of Reading and a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, with a career spanning over 15 years at the forefront of motivational science. Holding a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester, she has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications exploring how to optimise motivation, well-being, and lasting behavioural change.

Her research is not just academic, it is the scientific foundation on which our work is built. Netta's findings directly shape how our trainings are designed, moving organisations away from surface-level compliance and towards the conditions that foster genuine reflection, ethical decision-making, and values-driven inclusion. When the science behind our approach is the question, Netta is the answer.

Nicole Legate, PhD
Clinical & Research Director

nicole_legate_320x355.jpg

Nikki is a motivation psychologist and practicing clinical psychologist whose work sits at the heart of what we do. As an Associate Professor of Psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, she has spent over a decade studying how people create meaningful change from the inside out with change that is rooted in personal values rather than external pressure.

Her research spans two interconnected threads that run through everything we build: promoting resilience and well-being in historically excluded groups, and cultivating genuine inclusivity across the broader population. It is work that doesn't just describe the problem, it points directly to the solution.

Nikki holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester and a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA, and brings both her academic expertise and her clinical practice to bear on the real human dynamics at play in every organisation we work with. Where others address attitudes, Nikki's work goes deeper, targeting the conditions that shape how people actually behave.

Maya Al-Khouja, PhD
Implementation & Programme Director

Maya is a published behavioural scientist and research manager specialising in the design, delivery, and evaluation of inclusion programmes within large, complex public-sector organisations. Holding a Ph.D. from Cardiff University, she brings the science of motivation to life in environments where meaningful change is both urgent and hard-won.

Maya's particular strength lies in bridging the gap between evidence and implementation, ensuring that every programme is not only grounded in the best available science, but built to work in practice. She understands that even the most well-designed intervention can fall flat without the right operational conditions, and she brings that understanding to every project she leads.
